My name is Chris Gutierrez. My artist name is Chaz. This originated through me calling one of my best friends Chav. He began calling me Chaz and from there on out it just stuck. It is short simple and packs a lot into a little name.​ This represents my music as i do a lot with as little as possible.

 

My Music endeavor began at my first music festival. I went with three of my friends. After the conclusion of festival i started to get intrigued as to how these artist are making their music. I started out on Fl Studio 11 back in the summer of 2014. I have been producing ever since. I started out by the name of Bright Skies. At first I had no prior musical background. I had no idea how to use FL Studio or knew how to play a piano. I taught myself how to play the piano as well and teaching myself to use Fl Studio. First two years of producing were hard i was trying to get signed with every release and began to come to a conclusion that this is not the place for me. I finally got an amazing opportunity to be signed to my first record label Filthy Sounds Records. Ever since that day I have strived to do my best and pump out music other and I can enjoy. After coming to the conclusion that Bright Skies did not represent the music I wanted to make I left the record label after numerous releases and retired the project. 

 

Chaz was born. I had a passion for making dubstep and bass orientated music. I know strictly bass music with my own twist. I hope people will enjoy the ride and much as i do and continue to support me.
